Regata storica 2006 review

Having had the opportunity to watch the annual historic regata (September 3, 2006) from some friends’ apartment in the piano nobile of a Grand Canal palace, and having finally had the time to scan the film (yes, I’m old-fashioned), I thought I share some pictures with you:

    I tried rowing on my own last summer when I was in Venice. I found a paper on a tree about a german guy who offered rowing courses at la guidecca. It was not as easy as I thought but i figured out after a few minutes and than it was fun! There wasn’t a Homepage last year but now I found him at girovogando.eu His english was awfull but he new everything about the city.
